SPX 2005 photos
![]()
I got about 60 pics from SPX up at www.waspcomics.com (go to "SPX 2005" and click on the right part of the image to go to the next photo.)
The best two are the last two (below)--while we were doing the D.C. Conspiracy a panel this morning, my wife was changing my son in the hallway. He took off before she could grab him and he headed for Harvey Pekar who was sitting by himself enjoying a muffin. It was spontanous and funny.)

Of course, I like the one of you harrassing that dirty mouse thing. You probably have fleas now. (Incidentally, the book the mouse was pimping, "Hoax," is really, really weird and really, really well drawn.)

I was joking with a friend of mine: Wouldn't it be cool if Adam made it into two comics before the age of one? (Rawboned and, perhaps, American Splendor?)
Of course, I think Evan's got a better shot at making into American Splendor!

Matt, I made/published "Hoax" with Karl and Nate. Glad you liked the drawings. Incidently, the dirty animal was a teddy bear (Han Rickheit).

A teddy bear?! No, way! I initially thought Hans was passing out copies of "Maus" or something! I'm not the only one who thought it was a mouse--I've seen other posting about SPX that cite thet "mouse."
Now that you're in Baltimore, Lydia, I hope you'll have a chance to swing by a DCC meeting, particularly when we have one on the Yankee side.
